I am writing this letter to thank you and your team of dedicated, courteous professionals for having made it possible to stage this truly transformational event.
When we embarked on this long journey, it never occurred to me how complicated such a conference
could be to arrange. But once the realization did set in, I slept at nights only by knowing that so much was in your capable hands. And as I had anticipated, everything ultimately did go like clockwork: the meet and- greet services at the airport, hotels and conference center; the logistics of transport; the conference room allocations; catering; equipment rental; and the day-to-day organization of the entire event. These were the accomplishments that won the unanimous praise of our conference participants.
But behind the scenes, I saw a side of Shebelle most participants never saw. I saw a team that, no matter what the time of day, no matter how unexpected the request, was always there – and always up to the challenge.
A decade ago, I hosted a similar conference in Addis and called on Shebelle to organize it. That experience turned me into a life-long customer – so the thought of entrusting this conference to anyone else, quite frankly, never occurred to me.
